In an instant we found ourselves on a
very fast moving river with only our wits to guide us. The
metaphorical river appeared in the blink of an eye when a decision
was made with such conviction the Universe had no other choice but to
accept it as already done.
So begins the final stage for our move
to Thailand. Our brains were fixed on 16 weeks to go and now it is 3
weeks and only 10 days of work left! Excited as champagne bubbles
ready to explode is how we feel and the lists we made are both being
ticked off and added to at the same time.
ALL THE FEELS are bouncing around and
more coffee is probably not a good idea. So as I sit here at our
favorite coffee shop just down the street from the apartment we have
been in the last two years I need to remember to breathe! The people
here are wonderful and it feels like a safe port in a storm. Our
coffee is made as they watch us walk up the street and as we enter
the shop the greetings are so heartfelt it is like we have been gone
for years! We really love these people!
Our decision to move up the date
happened Friday afternoon before going home from work.
Today is Saturday and yes, we woke up
several times last night with dozens of thoughts running through our
heads. Get passport photos taken for our visas, change our flights
and hotel reservations, more items to give away, cancel electric,
notify banks.............on and on and on.
The reason this post was not published
a month ago was our hope to surprise some friends currently living in
Thailand when we arrive. More on how that goes later.
Remembering to breathe is always a good idea, and something I need to remember, too! Hope everything is settling down nicely. Take good care, and stop every once in awhile to ...
