Mae Ping Riverside Restaurant

You never know what you will see when you take the time to walk.

The banks of the Mae Ping River are dotted with restaurants and bars that come alive as the evening wears on. We made plans to meet Ursula at “The Riverside Restaurant” and feeling confident we could find our way we arrived a few minutes early, choose a lovely table at the rivers edge and waited for her to arrive. My phone rang and Ursula said, “Where are you?” …....Me, “We are sitting at a table, but I don't see you.” Some laughter and much apologizing to the wait staff that had seated us.......We were at the wrong restaurant!

We found her down the street at the Waterfall Riverside Restaurant, which is part of the other Riverside Restaurants and Bars. It is a lovely place with a very nice landscaped waterfall. The menu is extensive and has a choice for every taste.
