Sydney was gorgeous! We were up on deck at our usual before dawn time and were treated with our first view of the Opera House! Wow is not the correct word to describe this marvel. It rained off and on for the next couple of days, but we had fun and I made sure to splash in puddles.....because that is what I do!
We checked into our Airbnb apartment with a spectacular view across the harbor of the Opera House and the Sydney Harbor Bridge a 10 minute walk to our right.

On St. Patrick's Day we were treated to fireworks next to the Opera House
Even with the lights of the city we saw part of the Milky Way, the Southern Cross and Triangulum Australe

We stopped to rest on a bench at the Royal Botanic Garden after the rainstorm. We heard all kinds of chattering in the tree above us. I was lucky enough to catch these beautiful wild Rainbow Lorikeets!
